11月16日(土)と17日(日)の２日間で行われた第15回九州地区高等学校英語ディベート大会で，本校ESS部が見事優勝しました。今回，部員の皆さんからESS部らしく英語でコメントをもらいました。

We are glad to have become the champions at the Kyushu Debate Tournament, where two teams from each prefecture in Kyushu gathered to compete. We were a little nervous in the beginning, but we managed to give it our best, thanks to our teammates and teachers. We have moved on to the next stage in this tournament, so we are excited to continue to develop our debate skills and have our best games yet at the national tournaments in Tokyo and Gunma.

今回，九州大会で優勝することができてとても嬉しいです。この大会では，九州各県から代表校が二校出場しました。初めは緊張しましたが，一緒に練習をしてきた部員や指導していただいた先生方のおかけで練習の成果を発揮し、私たちらしい試合ができたと思います。今回の大会で今後の課題を見つけることができたので、12月の東京での即興方ディベート全国大会，また群馬でのデータ型ディベート全国大会でさらにスキルアップしたディベートができるように頑張ります。
